IN/A Membership Application Process and Application

[ ]   Applicant must be Indiana residents for a minimum of two years.

[ ]   Applicant must provide documentation of being accepted into three different juried exhibitions in the last five years. Here is a list of IN/A RECOMMENDED EXHIBITIONS of the competitive level we seek. Participation in competitive jurying environments with one’s peers is our intent. Submit copies of letter of acceptance, or catalogue entry or notification. Any exceptions to this will be made on a case-by-case basis.

[ ]   Applicant must submit a resume.

[ ]   Applicant must fill out and submit this form along with the IN/A NEW MEMBER APPLICATION

[ ]   Applicant must bring three pieces of artwork to the Jurying Session.

(Note: If bringing in physical work places an undue travel burden on you, you may mail a CD/Thumb Drive of at least three works of art (presentation ready—as if presenting to a gallery; jpg images, 300dpi not over 1920 pixels on the longest side; write your name on the CD in permanent marker along with the Title/Size/Medium of each work; 3-D work will require at least two views of the image and a detail). Then email this along with the Application.

You must contact the Member Chair first for this exemption! Regardless, please realize with some work it may be extremely hard to access the quality of one’s work when viewing it digitally, as opposed to personally.) 

BRING THESE TO THE JURY SESSION (dates/times below).

TAPE the APPLICATION to the back of one of your submitted works of art.

Note: Your materials will not be returned to you. Make sure you submit only copies of any documentation you have!!!

NOTE: Please type IN/A New Member Applicant in the email subject line!!!

Then, in the body of the email, include your Name, Email Address, Phone Number, the Primary Art Discipline you work in, and the jury date in which you plan to submit.

* Any questions, please feel free to email or call the Chair. Realize we are all volunteers and allow time for a response.

Only upon membership acceptance will you pay a one-time $50 application fee.

After this, yearly Membership Dues are $45.00 per year.


2018 Jury Dates:

The next two jury dates are Sunday, May 6th, 2018 and Sunday, November 11, 2018 (Drop off your artwork between 1:30-2:00pm. Judging begins at 2:00pm. Judging is finished at 3:30pm and may be picked up between 3:30 — 4:00pm.)
